Homeowners wanted a trusted local company to deliver a reliable, high-quality solar solution in Droitwich. We designed and installed a system that maximises energy generation while future-proofing for battery storage.

Challenges

School House is a fully electric rural home, already upgraded with insulation and energy-efficiency improvements. The owners wanted to add solar and battery storage to reduce grid reliance and lower electricity costs, choosing a trusted local installer over online-only quotes.

Our Solution

While carrying out work at the neighbouring church, Solar Severn was invited to assess the property. We identified that roof repairs were required prior to installation, along with potential shading from a nearby tree. To maximise performance, panels were designed across two roof aspects with optimisers to ensure efficient generation.

Benefits

The system has since been expanded following the installation of a heat pump, with additional battery storage easily added thanks to the stackable design of the Sigenergy SigenStor system.
